Feedback /

 - You need reference if you write about something that people might know.

 - Suggest big statement or issue in the introduction

 - Think about your reader(the format of your writing)

 - Your writing should be composed of introduction / body / conclusion.

>>141009 personal feedback on my report

You wrote a good report with some solid reflection. Here are some suggestions how to improve the report:
- You could have deleted the very first sentence.. no need to write this, as the reader will understand automatically
- however your second sentence needs a reference, as it is not based on your own ideas - but rather learned from Flippen, or some other expert

- try to avoid bringing up new points and arguments in your conclusion - the conclusion usually just summaries the results, logically reflecting on what you have discussed in the body of your report
>> you should not have any new references in your conclusion…

>> intro: setting the stage for your report, define the topic
>> body: discuss, argue, describe and reflect your opinions, experiences in relation to expert knowledge
>> conclusion: summarise, synthesise, no new information

Overall, try to reflect more deeply about your experiences, the reasons, and consequences of your behaviour / design process.

 > I realized that I didn't have understanding about the structure of the report. I should think of the structure first and then write the whole thing. Maybe it will be a help to make a short structure or draft first.

 > After writing a report, I will need to check all the cases whether it needs reference or not. When I was just writing, I didn't noticed it needs reference, but I think I have to review it in the perspective of 'whether it needs reference'

Some points of the presentation about Korean folklore.

 - Since we explain it in a viewpoint as a Korean, I found that we miss some points that foreigner cannot understand.

 - It was hard for me to understand subtle difference between the meaning of 'tradition' and 'folklore'. When we learn a new foreign word, there is more to understand the meaning, so-called, nuance.

 - There are many cultural practice we share with other countries. And in this class, we should find what is special in Korean folklore among the practices similar to other countries or culture.
